EKU's Meadowbrook Farm along with Wolfe County Extension will host its annual “Day at the Farm” on March 30, 2017. Approximately 140 third and fourth graders will visit the farm for tours and activities led by EKU agriculture students.

Activities begin early with EKU students arriving for setup at 8:30 am and elementary students getting to the farm around 9:30 am for the perennial favorite sometimes known as 'Kiddie Days at the Farm'.

Agriculture students organize and participate in the Day at the Farm event by teaching a different game or activity to the children. Interactive activities include farm equipment, animals, plants, products, and agriculture business. Before departing around 2 pm, the children will get to make their own ice cream and take a hay ride tour of the farm - a real favorite!
